Nashville Star

I was really serious when I said I wanted to become a country star. So I went out and bought an accoustic guitar. I've learned a bunch of chords, but can someone please tell me how to work the whoel tablature thing.

It's easy, backstroker.

The bottom line on the page represents the big E string, the top-most, thickest, lowest-sounding string on your guitar. The top line on the page represents the little E string, the bottom-most, thinnest, highest-pitched string.

The numbers on each line represent frets. When a 0 is written, that string is played open, or without any finger touching the string at any fret. When a 3 is written, fret the string just behind the thrid fret (nearer to the head stock of the guitar). Now read left to right, top to bottom, just as if your IQ were normal. Two numbers written on top of each other indicates that you are supposed to play those two strings simultaneously.

...or you can go to websites like this one: http://guitar.about.com/library/blhowtoreadtab.htm

How's D.C.? I take it LullaBelle now either knows about the guitar or is too far away to cause you much stress over it?
